Somewhat better. Finished the rough draft of my superhero classification paper. Trying to have a positive outlook on the day, and it was going well until my stepmom decided to "vent" at me.

Yeah. I guess my brother got mouthy with her and said something he's heard my younger sister say. I knew she was punishing him for something, but I had been deep-cleaning the restroom, and she abruptly showed up in the doorway and was all, "Do you see what my kids are learning?! Do you see what all these dark clouds of negativity defiling this house do to your younger brothers?! It's bad enough I have to put up with your sister on a day-to-day basis, but I might as well have sacrificed my entire damn family for you and your sister. I don't matter to either of you and nothing I say matters either. I don't even know why I'm here!"

Tis okay. She even acknowledged that she knew I hadn't done anything wrong to upset her between a couple of those sentences. I just kind of ignored it afterward.
